You will savor the flavors of finger foods found on the busy streets of Accra, Ghana where I was born and immigrated from 23 years ago. Over the years I’ve learned that certain foods have universality. Be it meat on a stick, deep fried wings, fries, or corn dogs, street food is a delight no matter what part of the world you find yourself in. We will recreate some of the foods found on the busy streets of Accra, Ghana during an evening out.

Chef Kuukua, of Accra, Ghana, invites you to her Ghanaian harvest table through the collaboration with Chef Brooke Kinsey of Bleu & Fig.
Tickets are $30 contained in which is the invite to sample from a smorgasbord of celebratory foods to be found at most harvest celebrations during the days when Chef Kuukua was growing up in Abeka, a small suburb of Accra, Ghana.

African cuisine can feel out of reach sometimes because we are often not exposed to it. Join us for dinner and learn how to make a traditional West African staple fufu with nkatsi nkwan, also called groundnut soup, a staple of most African diets, made from fresh ground peanut paste, often spicy and piled high with all kinds of meat. Learn about dumplings from Ghana, made from plantains, cassava, yam, or cocoyam tubers. Spice levels are customizable. Paired with wine. Vegan and Gluten-Free options available.
